Day 10 - Teresa "Fang Fang" & Ruth Ann Bartlinski

Many of you may remember our story of our precious daughter Teresa.

God only blessed us with her here on earth for three short years.  It has been 2 1/2 years since she went to heaven.

She passed away at the age of 6 from complications of her heart transplant.  On July 1,2013 half of my heart went to heaven with her. Since then our family has had to learn how to live again.

Teresa alway found joy in each day, no matter how small.  And this is what we now do in her memory.

Last May we returned to China to adopt two little girls.  One of whom has severe CHD.

Many have asked us why we would adopt again a child so ill.

Our response has always been because we chose HOPE.

Ruth is a very spirited child. She is sweet and kind and the first one to give a hug to one of her sisters when they are sad.

Last September, she had her first heart surgery and did fantastic.

In Teresa's memory we continue to work with Little Hearts Medical to improve the lives of CHD orphans in China.

This April we will return to China with LHM. We will continue to work with the CCCWA as our team of cardiologists offer training and medical assistance at BaYi Hospital in Beijing.

We know we are being guided from Heaven by one  spunky, magical and sweet little girl to help more orphans.

"We love you more" Teresa !

Teresa touched my life in so many ways. She was a gift from God. Her life story drew so many people to God. I will always remember the massive group of people from around the world who prayed for Teresa and your family. I specifically remember a post that I wrote on my Facebook page on the morning that she went to Heaven. I asked my Friends to pray for Teresa...that this little girl "needed to get her ears pierced and needed to learn to ride her bike". Ann, you took the time to reply and tell me that you did get her ears pierced that day. Your family has shown so much love and grace in how you are loving and raising your children. I am touched by how you have carried on Teresa's Legacy, by continuing to make ways for children in China to receive medical care.
Congratulations on your two newest additions to the family! They are precious. Oh, and on the other new Littles in that family photos. Grandchildren. So, so happy to see all of your other daughters growing and thriving. Continued prayers for the health issues of each sweet daughter. <3 Jo Moseley
